TATAKOX – VILA NOVA VILLAGE

Quando as mulheres sentem saudade das suas crianças que morreram pequenas, os Tatakox vão buscá-las e trazem-nas às aldeias para que as mães as vejam. Com a filmadora nós pudemos ver de onde é que os Tatakox tiram as crianças. Depois, no mesmo dia, os meninos vivos da aldeia são levados de suas mães pelos espíritos para ficar na casa dos homens e aprender.

When women miss their children who died small, the Tatakox fetch them so their mothers can see them in their hamlet. With the camera we are able to see from where the Tatakox bring the kids. Then, on the same day, the living boys are taken by the spirits from their mothers to stay in the house of men to learn.
