Um documentário sobre o intercâmbio cultural entre os Parakatêje, do Pará e os Krahô do Tocantins, que embora falem a mesma língua, nunca haviam se encontrado antes. Kokrenum, líder dos Parakatêjê e preocupado com a descaracterização do seu povo, resolve ir conhecer uma aldeia Krahô que conserva muitas de suas tradições. Um ano depois, os Paraktêjê retribuem o convite. No final, os chefes selam um pacto de amizade entre os dois povos.

This film documents a cultural exchange between the Parkatêjê (Gavião) of the Para state and their "relatives", the Krahô of Tocantins. Kokrenum, chief of the Parkatêjê, organizes a visit to the Krahô, who speak their language and maintain their traditions.. The following year, the Parkatêjê return the invitation and the Krahô travel to kokren's village. The two chiefs discuss cultural issues and seal a pact of friendship between their groups.
